The Estonian Quality Agency for Education has received funding for the project Enhancement of Higher Education Quality in Ukraine

The Estonian Quality Agency for Education has received funding for the project Enhancement of Higher Education Quality in Ukraine  The projekti is funded by ESTDEV- Estonian Centre for International Development.

The project activities will be carried out until 31.12.2025 and the total budget of the project is ~ 230 000 euros.

The aim of the project is to support the Ukrainian National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (NAQA) in developing and implementing a model for institutional accreditation of higher education institutions. The expected result will be an institutional accreditation model in line with European standards and guidelines (ESG) and taking into account the local context. The model will be piloted in at least three higher education institutions.

The planned activities include mapping of needs, including at information exchange seminars with NAQA staff; setting up a joint Haka-NAQA working group to develop accreditation requirements and processes; self-analysis training for the institutions undergoing assessment; evaluation training for evaluation experts (Estonian-Ukrainian mixed teams); piloting accreditation in three higher education institutions; organizing follow-up seminars for NAQA staff and representatives of evaluated higher education institutions.
