EKKA’s assessments in the first semester of 2018
2018 will see last study programme group assessments taking place in higher education, with main focus on assessments of doctoral programmes. Euroacademy and Lääne-Viru College will undergo Institutional Accreditation for the second time. A record number of initial assessments (5) will also be taking place.
In VET, 2018 is the closing year of one cycle of assessments and the year for launching a new quality assessment system.
In the first semester of 2018, the following assessments will be conducted in higher education:
Institutional accreditation: Euroacademy and Lääne-Viru College
Quality assessment of study programme groups:
- Euroacademy: business and administration; languages and cultures; life sciences
- Lääne-Viru College: social services; business and administration
- Tallinn University; Tallinn University of Technology and University of Tartu: informatics and information technology as well as mathematics and statistics doctoral studies
- Tallinn University of Technology: architecture and building doctoral studies
- Tallinn University, Tallinn University of Technology, Estonian University of Life Sciences and University of Tartu: life sciences doctoral studies
- Tallinn University, Tallinn University of Technology ja University of Tartu: physical sciences doctoral studies
- Estonian University of Life Sciences: agriculture, forestry and fishery as well as veterinary medicine doctoral studies

- Tallinn Health Care College: health care Master’s studies (initial assessment)
- Tartu Health Care College: health care Master’s studies (initial assessment)
- Euroacademy: business and administration Master’s studies (initial assessment)
- Eesti Kunstiakadeemia: arhchitecture and building doctoral studies (initial assessment)
- Tallinn University: arts doctoral studies (initial assessment)
- University of Tartu: informatics and information technology professional higher education (re-evaluation of initial assessment)
- Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences: personal services professional higher educatione (re-evaluation of initial assessment)
Secondary conditions imposed:
- Estonian Aviation Academy : transport services as well as engineering, manufacturing and technology
- Tallinn University of Technology: engineering, manufacturing and technology
- Estonian University of Life Sciencesl: veterinary medicine
