Apply for the Estonian e-course Quality Label

The call for applications for the e-course Quality Label is open.

We are accepting applications from academic staff of higher education institutions, who have created a blended or a fully online learning course and have conducted it at least once. Applications from teachers in general and vocational education are also accepted.

The Quality Label confirms the good level of the e-course and is an acknowledgement to the designer and teacher, who have achieved good results in the application of digital technology in the learning process.

How is the e-course evaluated?

The evaluation of an e-courses is structured at three levels:

1.Self-evaluation

Self-evaluation is done independently by the applicant based on the available form.

2. Institutional review

Institutional review is completed and signed by the person appointed by the institution (e.g. programme director, head of department etc). The review is submitted by the applicant along with other documents. Template for the institutional review.

3.Feedback from experts

Evaluation at this level commences after submitting the self-evaluation and the institutional review. A panel of experts will evaluate the e-course based on agreed quality criteria and guidelines. Decision to award the Quality Label is taken at the level of the expert panel.

Every applicant will receive feedback on their e-course from the panel of experts.

The call for applications is open until February 1, 2024.

Recipients of the quality label will be announced by April 15, 2024.
