2014 INQAAHE Forum discussed partnerships in QA

This year’s INQAAHE Forum took place in Tallinn, Estonia on 26-28 May. More than 130 participants from nearly 60 countries were represented at the Forum entitled “Partnerships in Quality Assurance in Higher Education”. The event was hosted by the Estonian Higher Education Quality Agency (EKKA).

On the pre-forum day, a workshop on the implementation of INQAAHE Guidelines of Good Practices (GGP) took place as well as theINQAAHE-EASPA Global Networking Conference. The programme included keynote speeches by Professor Jaak Aaviksoo (Estonia) about dilemmas between partners’ expectations and QA agencies’ provision, and by Professor Maria João Rosa (Portugal) about results of the research of quality improvement, as well as presentations of several surveys conducted by INQAAHE (internationalisation of QA agencies; QA of diverse QA networks) and ENQA (stakeholders’ involvement).
