Quality assessment of study programme groups
The aim of the quality assessment of study programme groups in continuing education is to evaluate the quality of study programmes and development thereof as well as the quality of instruction.
During the assessment, the study programmes offered in a study programme group, the learning and teaching and development of learning and teaching are checked against:
- the quality principles for continuing education laid down in the Adult Education Act and Standard of Continuing Education
- domestic and international standards and trends
- quality criteria developed for evaluation.
The objective of quality assessment of study programme groups is to provide recommendations with a view of improving quality as well as to acknowledge high quality. A provider may receive the quality label as an outcome of the assessment.
In 2022-2023 the study programme group assessments were carried out among the training voucher partners of the Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund.
The assessments are financed through the European Social Fund and Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund program 2014-2020.3.02.001.01.15-0001 “Proving labour market services to ensure better opportunities for emplotment” action 2.8 “Improving the quality of labour market training”.
