Euroacademy and L\u00e4\u00e4ne-Viru College will undergo Institutional Accreditation for the second time. A record number of initial assessments (5) will also be taking place.<\/p>\n<p>In VET, 2018 is the closing year of one cycle of assessments and the year for launching a new quality assessment system.<\/p>\n<p>In the first semester of 2018, the following assessments will be conducted in higher education:<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nInstitutional accreditation<\/strong>: Euroacademy and L\u00e4\u00e4ne-Viru College<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nQuality assessment of study programme groups<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Euroacademy: business and administration; languages and cultures;\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\">life sciences<\/span><\/li>\n<li>L\u00e4\u00e4ne-Viru College: social services; business and administration<\/li>\n<li>Tallinn University; Tallinn University of Technology\u00a0and University of Tartu: informatics and information technology as well as mathematics and statistics doctoral studies<\/li>\n<li>Tallinn University of Technology: architecture and building doctoral studies<\/li>\n<li>Tallinn University, Tallinn University of Technology, Estonian University of Life Sciences\u00a0and University of Tartu: life sciences doctoral studies<\/li>\n<li>Tallinn University, Tallinn University of Technology ja University of Tartu: physical sciences doctoral studies<\/li>\n<li>Estonian University of Life Sciences: agriculture, forestry and fishery as well as veterinary medicine doctoral studies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Initial assessments and re-evaluations of initial assessments<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tallinn Health Care College: health care Master&#8217;s studies (initial assessment)<\/li>\n<li>Tartu Health\u00a0Care College: health care Master&#8217;s studies (initial assessment)<\/li>\n<li>Euroacademy: business and administration Master&#8217;s studies (initial assessment)<\/li>\n<li>Eesti Kunstiakadeemia: arhchitecture and building doctoral studies (initial assessment)<\/li>\n<li>Tallinn University: arts doctoral studies (initial assessment)<\/li>\n<li>University of Tartu: informatics and information technology professional higher education (re-evaluation of initial assessment)<\/li>\n<li>Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences:\u00a0personal services professional higher educatione (re-evaluation of initial assessment)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Secondary conditions imposed<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Estonian Aviation Academy : transport services as well as engineering, manufacturing and technology<\/li>\n<li>Tallinn University of Technology: engineering, manufacturing and technology<\/li>\n<li>Estonian University of Life Sciencesl: veterinary medicine<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>In VET, the following study programme groups will undergo accreditation in the first semester of 2018:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>J\u00e4rvamaa County Vocational Training Centre: database and network design and administrationKehtna Vocational Education Centre: mining and\u00a0extraction<\/li>\n<li>Viljandi Vocational Training Centre: processing of materials (glass, paper, plastic, wood)<\/li>\n<li>Vana-Vigala Technical and Service School: food processing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2018 will see last study programme group assessments taking place in higher education, with main focus on assessments of doctoral programmes.
