At the heart of our work are students\u2019 and learners\u2019 right to quality education and the reliability of Estonian education nationally and internationally. It is the responsibility of educational institutions to ensure the quality of education and HAKA’s task to support them in developing a strong quality culture. Independent experts have an important role in HAKA\u2019s quality assessment activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We bring together different parties in education, including students, teachers, school leaders, parents, communities, the Ministry of Education and Research, and other public and private organisations. Together, we agree on shared expectations for quality education. Based on these expectations, Estonia\u2019s education strategy as well as international trends, we develop quality criteria, which help institutions to assess how well they meet these expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our work is based on education agreements and development priorities in Estonia and Europe. We ensure that evaluations and analyses are conducted competently and objectively. We use co-creation in our processes, value mutual learning, and share our knowledge with society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
